ASI Community Workshop in St. Johns, with the Community Sector Council of Newfoundland and Labrador

What an amazing time we had at the ASI Community Workshop in St. Johns, NL on February 24th! We were so grateful to partner with the Community Sector Council of Newfoundland and Labrador to make it happen. Participants of all ages (18-75) brought their unique perspectives on promoting mental health for infants, children, and youth.

We loved seeing the local projects that were showcased! They sparked some fantastic conversations about investing upstream from the perinatal period through the entire lifespan, as the ASI Policy Brief recommends. ? We couldn’t have done it without the amazing planning and tech support from Lindsey Hynes, Kellee Strang, and the Go Getters from CSC. Special thanks to Cathy Newhook and her team from the Harris Centre, Mandy Rowsell and Stephanie LeGresley, for bringing Knowledge Translation Specialist, Mandy Walker into the room via Zoom so she could capture the essence of the workshop.
The ASI Board, Coordinator Patsy Beattie-Huggan, and local Board members Maggie Snow and Karen Clarke are excited to explore future initiatives with our new partners in St. John’s! Thank you all!!
