Program

The ASI 2019 Forum is focusing on supportive environments – social and physical – that can influence mental health and well-being. Social environments include families, communities, schools and the virtual environment of social media, while physical environments include both built and natural. The importance of cultural connection will be considered throughout. The 2019 program will include updates on the Call to Action, Indigenous ways of knowing, and connections to the Sustainable Development Goals.

The ASI Forum will be held at the University of Prince Edward Island, Sustainable Design Engineering (south entrance – facing the Bell Aliant Centre). You may park for free in the MacLaughlan Arena parking lot, as well as general lots D, E, A and B (campus map).

Registration and exhibits will be in the RBC Concourse of the School of Sustainable Design Engineering. Registration is between 12:00 –

6:15 pm on Monday, August 19. The Forum will begin promptly at 6:30pm, with an opening ceremony and keynote address that are open to the public. The opening ceremony and plenary sessions will be held in room 128 A/B. Concurrent sessions and workshops will be held in both the School of Sustainable Design Engineering and the nearby Health Sciences building. The Children’s Program will be held in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.
